"Authentic dishes from various provinces of Myanmar"

Sandy migrated from Myanmar back in 2005 and wasn't sure where life was going to lead her in the States. She grew up mostly in the kitchen with her Ahmay, Grandma and Grand Aunties who cooked amazing Burmese dishes.

She love cooking since she was young and also like to have flower arrangements. Her dreams, were fulfilled when she had a chance to open Sandy’s Myanmar Cuisine and Sandy’s Floral Services in Yangon Myanmar.

Her family support her a lot !!!!!

She made her dreams come true around 2002, back in Myanmar, when she started Sandy's Myanmar Cuisine. She was the pioneer who introduced traditional dishes within the major hotels back in Myanmar. She’s won the Myanmar Time's Gold Plate Awards for Best Myanmar Cuisine in both the competitions of 2002 and 2004 by using the traditional techniques passed down to her by Grandmother, Grand Aunties and her Ahmay.

In the Myanmar Chef Association 's competition of 2004 and 2005, Sandy's won the Best Taste Winner, Best National Mote Hin gar Award, as well as Best Regional Mote Hin Gar Awards with its entry of the Inlay variety.

Mote Phat & Khao Swae

The most simple and common dishes sought after by Burmese locals on a day to day basis as their daily staples for breakfast and lunch for a true Burmese umami experience. All dishes served with cilantro/green onions, lime and roasted chili flakes.
